Well it looks like I just did a "meme" whatever that means. It took a while but I got there in the end. So it falls to me to pass it on. I hope at least one or two of them will take this on and do a post/posts on seven things they like/makes them happy/makes them smile.
The Kitchen Bitch Ponders - Eryl's blog is an inspiration to me. She's being doing this for a while now. She's just good at it. Try this - Trippin Eryl just writes it as she sees it, and holds my attention effortlessly.
Next up is Backward Leonard - Don't ask me what it means, I've always been confused. Other than that Liz makes it all seem so easy. She just writes about where she is and who she's with. She always leaves me smiling. Try this - Snow Bubbas then read all of the rest and feel the warm welcome that you'll always get each time you visit.
Bohemian Babies is a cracking read. Always adventurous, writing from the heart and the mind. Go there read this post and then trawl through the others.
Then go visit Pearl at Pearl, Why you little.. She's funny. She was a serious teenager who kept her shoes too long. Read about it here Shoes.
Otherwordlyone at Calling people names is probably one of the funniest human beings I've read. It'll make you laugh and choke on your food. And it's often rude, really funny rude. Try this for size Coitus Interruptus
Next up is Charlie, better known as Professor Worm. Charlie's blog is just what it's all about. Go there and immerse yourself into the warm bath that is Charlie's writing - Hospital Diaries is the sort of thing you get over at his place.
Last, but by no means least is Sharon's blog Resistant But Persistent Ain't that just right. I should know, I live with her. I thought long and hard about whether to include this, but I'm completely satisfied that it's here on its own merits, not just because I love her. Try this Living with broken things
I'm taking the same line Mr London Street did with this. None of those listed above have to do it, and if they do they can do it short, medium, or long. All in one go or one by one. Doesn't have to be seven things they like, love or make them smile (though that would be nice). A list of seven things of their choice would be fine and dandy. It's not a challenge though - if they ain't got time, that's fine.
All of them can just take this as a big thank you for the hours of entertainment they've given me.
If you are not one of the people listed above - go look at their blogs right now.

You have done an absolutely fantastic job with this, I'm so impressed. I definitely passed this on to the right person. Just think, between us we might give memes a good name. Huge fan of your writing and this sequence - the pomade post was a particularly fun way to round it all off.
Great choice of bloggers to pass it on to, too.
MLS - cheers - I particularly enjoyed doing the last one.
I'm so excited to do this.
You have no idea what you've done, my friend. :)
otherworldlyone - that's what I like to hear, enthusiasm tinged with a slight air of menace.
Seriously. What is a meme? I already hate that word, and I don't yet know what it is.
Laurenne - I don't like that word either. I'm rubbish at jargon. I just did what I thought I was supposed to. Don't get me started on all that LOL, ROFL, wtf nonsense.
Thanks for the kind words Philip! As always, you're very good for my ego.
Why, thank you, Phillip!
I've gotten meme all over me a number of times, but thank you.
And nice meeting you. :-)

Cheers Philip,
Glad you appreciate my more personal psychological meanderings, there's plenty more of that to come, its a kind of therapy for me, a way of ordering my chaotic consciousness and I try to make it as entertaining as possible.
I love a bit of existential angst mixed with mid-life despair.
Although I should seek therapy for the Caravan fixation and the childhood regressive anality...and all the other weird stuff.

Thank you for passing it on to otherworldyone. Now I'm going to go read the others...you obviously have a knack for choosing good blogs to tag. Cheers. - G
Blimey, thanks Phil. I'll definitely scoop up the gauntlet and follow your lead: seven posts about nice things, it'll make a nice change from laundry.
I love this post so much. Thank you Philip. This is a great idea to introduce interesting and unique blogs. Every time I visit your blog I think about your writing. Something touching and captivating about it; I also think that you are a very giving person.
